In my role as a Privacy Manager at a leading digital health provider, I was crucial in implementing and refining a global privacy program. I worked closely with product teams to ensure that any product changes complied with privacy policies and best practices, effectively aligning product goals with rigorous privacy standards. My primary responsibility involved reviewing product changes to ensure compliance with key regulations such as CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, as well as an FTC consent order and our internal policies. My role also included conducting detailed gap analyses against U.S. and E.U. regulations such as CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, NIST-PF, and contributing to the creation of a remediation roadmap to address compliance gaps. This framework effectively reconciled the requirements of the AI Act, the NIST AI RFM, and other global standards, with the objective of providing comprehensive oversight of AI-related product changes. I also drafted and refined the privacy policy provisions related to AI/LLMs, addressing both emerging privacy issues and regulatory expectations.
