In my role as the former Director of Student Activities and Leadership Development within the Department of Student Affairs, I successfully oversaw and managed a comprehensive range of programs aimed at enhancing student engagement and fostering leadership skills. With a tenure spanning from October 2016, my responsibilities included coordinating diverse student activities, managing budgets, and supervising a team of coordinators.In addition, I provided strategic leadership training to student clubs and advisors, overseeing essential committees such as the Student Government Association (SGA), Campus Activities Board (CAB), and Student Leaders Across Campus (SLAC).My background in college student development was complemented by strong communication skills, which enabled me to effectively represent our office in various campus-wide committees and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. By fostering a dynamic environment, I contributed to the creation of a vibrant campus culture that nurtured student growth and success.During my tenure, my role evolved to encompass additional responsibilities. I was appointed as a Co-Chair for a Retention Taskforce, where my focus extended to closely analyzing the existing policies, procedures, and processes. I took the initiative to implement a dynamic platform that harnessed predictive analytics to gain valuable insights into our student body. This strategic effort aimed to enhance student retention rates and further improve the overall student experience, aligning seamlessly with my commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive campus environment.

The American Legion Boys State is among the most respected educational programs of government instruction for high school students. As an Instructor, I am to engage the participants to the rights and privileges, the duties and the responsibilities of a franchised citizen. The training we provide is objective and practical with city, county and state governments operated by the students elected to the various offices. Activities include legislative sessions, court proceedings, law enforcement presentations, assemblies, bands, chorus and recreational programs. As a counselor, I am responsible for ensuring the safety of my cabin, the citizens, and to help bring individuals from all across the state and get them to actively participate in the camp and interact with the other citizens, often holding the value of our motto “A Week That Shapes A Lifetime”.

Serving as the Coordinator of Campus Activities, I am charged with planning, executing, and overseeing student activities and programs that take place throughout the academic year. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between students, administration, faculty, and community members to aid in the success of the student programming. As a coordinator, one typically works with a variety of social and economic backgrounds. Furthermore, I am required to work evenings and weekends in order to supervise and attend the student’s extracurricular events.In addition to serving as the Coordinator of Campus Activities, I share Residence Life responsibility as a professional staff member during the on call-rotation, which aid Residence Assistants (RA’s) and Campus Security in situations and incident that may occur in the residence halls.One of the primary responsibilities of the Coordinator of Campus Activities at Wheeling Jesuit University is overseeing the operation and success of Wheeling Jesuit’s campus bar, the Das Rathskeller. Responsibilities include lawful operations and establishing a safe and enriching environment for students and community members. Furthermore, I also serve the Student Government Association as the Moderator for the Senate and organize the Student Development’s shuttle service. Additional responsibilities include budget planning, scheduling events, enforcing University policies, marketing, program evaluation, supervising students work, and overall department development.

Responsible for providing various programs and paraprofessional counseling for residences, in a wing span of 30 male college first-year students. Conducts rounds throughout the building in order to assure security and enforcement of University policies, hold weekly meetings to address prominent issues, and provide the necessary tools to transition into the college atmosphere. Works close with Area Coordinators, other Resident Assistants, and Director of Student Life, in addition to the Dean to provide feedback that the residents suggest. Serving as a member of the Student Leadership and assumed additional leadership positions.

Supervises the entire pool staff by facilitating meetings and assigning workload. In the managerial position, administers evaluation reports to the staff, prepping the pool for open season and the close of the season. In addition, manages fee collection, recording receipts and making end-of-day deposits. Handles sanitary issues of the pool, ensure chlorine and pH readings are accurate for the number of pool patrons and keeping adequate records of water back washing, accidents, rescue and assist with first aid.
