During my time at Dräger, I deepened my knowledge in digital marketing for a leading global B2B company. As Social Media Manager, I developed a global community, with high engagements and growth. Social Media Management is all about team work as you need a great team and agency partners providing knowledge and content to succesfully engage with a global audience. As Digital Marketing Manager I owned the global website rollout for the strategic rebranding of the medical division of Dräger. A complex, truly international project with many stakeholders and interfaces to manage. I acted as "Product Owner" for the project, worked with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team spanning across the IT department, agency network and marketing departments in the regional organizations. This is where I really got into Kanban, Design Thinking and Scrum.

During my time at Beiersdorf I learned a lot about communications, managing complex projects and the importance of good communication in cross-functional teams. Working collaboratively across department boundaries turned out to be the biggest challenge in a traditional company. During my time in corporate communications, the department changed towards a customer-centric organization. I wrote my Bachelor thesis about this change management initiative and conducted many interviews with employees to evaluate the outcome of it. An interesting experience where I sparked my interest for organizational development and change management. Following my time in Corporate Communications I joined the German Marketing team as Brand PR manager. I learned a lot about digital PR, especially by experimenting with editorial video content and tutorials for YouTube. During this time, I realized that departments need to cross department borders to generate value for the company in a better, faster and less political way.
