I have a background in AutoCAD and was certified in 2021 Intro to SolidWorks. In high school, I was the first Latina president of the Aviation Club and won an award for excellence in the Aviation department for my high school class.In my first quarter at the University of Washington, I was able to organize a showcase of Catrinas to demonstrate at the ECC’s Day of the Dead event with music, photography, local Latine news coverage, models, and traditional attire to educate the audience on where Catrina’s originated and their significance all in under 3 weeks. I am also the only first-year Support Squad Lead for the Political Action Committee in the Latine Student Union at UW Seattle for the year 2022. My desire to earn a degree in Political Science and LSJ is driven by my passion for my community. Latinx people are not always represented in government affairs, and I want to help spread our voices. I want to fight and make positive changes for BIPOC and show that it is possible to achieve more and reach for equality.
