Passionate Data Engineer with a Foundation in PhysicsMy journey began with an MSci degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham, where I developed great appreciation for critical thinking and problem solving.Leveraging this background to seamlessly transition into a Data Engineering position thanks to Kubrick, where I thrive on crafting solution to a variety of problems. Some of which included using Large Language Models in conjunction with Databricks and creating an end-to-end pipeline using Python, Azure function apps and PowerBI to extract, transform and visualise YouTube channel data.My toolkit extends beyond the aforementioned tools, encompassing a diverse array of tools such as Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Neo4j, and Dataiku. This broad spectrum of skills empowers me to tackle multifaceted projects with confidence and creativity.Collaboration remains the cornerstone of my methodology. I thrive in cross-functional teams, where open communication and knowledge exchange not only foster a vibrant atmosphere but also contribute significantly to the success of our projects.
