I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst professional with a demonstrated leadership history. I have worked clinically with diverse humans across the lifespan in various settings, focusing on building patterns of positive and supportive interactions strengthened by precision teaching methodology. I have strong observation skills, attention to detail, innovative ideas, and a drive to truly understand. I excel in fast-paced start-up environments where my out-of-the-box thinking, and transparent communication style are welcomed. As an employee of the University of Illinois Office of Medication Innovation, I have had the professional opportunity to research policy for several Medicaid topics. I have also had the opportunity to assist in drafting rules and policies on these topics. I look forward to transforming my current behavior analytic skill set in the field of public policy to reduce mental and physical health care disparities. I look forward to the master's program in public policy to assist me in further developing my current skill set and my professional policy writing skills to communicate well-reasoned and thoughtful analyses of public policy. The program will also deepen my understanding of policy development and provide the additional skills I need to work collaboratively with other stakeholders to develop effective policy.
