Transitioning from government, she worked as the human resources manager and membership services director at First Church of God, a congregation comprised of 5000+ members under the leadership of Bishop Timothy J. Clarke from 2003-2014. She then worked from 2014-16 as director of career development at Dress for Success Columbus. A return to government occurred in 2016, when she joined CelebrateOne, Mayor Andrew Ginther’s initiative to reduce infant mortality before moving on to ADAMH in 2021. D Malone earned her graduate degree from Mid-America Christian University.She is a member of First Church of God, City of Refuge; serves as 1st vice president of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Gamma Zeta Zeta Chapter, Columbus; corresponding secretary for National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC); Columbus; Commissioner, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority.
