I am an entrepreneur, an innovator and a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction design.Out of a strong desire to improve the interaction between people and smart objects, I have co-founded Zerynth, an IoT company dedicated to simplifying the design and development of connected devices and Industrial Internet of Things applications. I am currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Zerynth.I also hold a position of assistant professor at the Computer Science department of the University of Pisa where I teach Human Machine Interface and Social Robotics.When it comes to my studies at the University of Pisa, In 2006 I received the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering, and I started my PhD in Automatic Robotic and Bioengineering, that I concluded in 2010.In 2012 I joined forces with several of my colleagues and friends in Pisa where we founded the Pisa FABLAB. In 2019 I co-founded GATE SPA a company aimed at aggregating startups and talents strengthening the innovation business in Italy. I am co-inventor of 7 patents, two book chapters and various academic publications in Computer Science, IOT, Industry 4.0 applications and Biomedical Engineering.
