As a general surgeon with experience in endoscopies and advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures I have been able to help patients work through and recover from challenging illnesses and debilitating diseases. I became interested in the field due to my love of surgical procedures, but subsequently began to love taking care of patients and follow them through their recovery process.Although I have invested in a variety of startups that span many different fields from SAAS to B2B/B2C I feel a special synergy with companies that seek to improve the field of medicine. I love the entire startup community and ultimately seek out companies that can reduce the complex into the simple; that can create a moat that makes their process or product absolutely unique and vital.
