Founded in March 2014, our Society brings together university professors, doctors, engineers, and technicians dedicated to advancing the fields of medicine and engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our members work tirelessly to establish and support a robust network of scientists and researchers, with the goal of pioneering innovations in biomedical engineering within the region.Our primary objectives include:➔ Development and Promotion: Expanding the reach and impact of biomedical engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina.➔Education and Awareness: Organizing scientific and technical educational activities to inform both the scientific community and the general public about the latest advancements in biomedical engineering.➔Publishing: Producing books, magazines, newspapers, and publications to disseminate knowledge, in line with current legislation.Since our inception, we have successfully organized key events and projects, such as the First Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering in 2015 and the UNESCO, UNICEF, and UNDP-supported project "Mutual Future Based on Mutual Interests."In 2017, we proudly hosted the IFMBE/IEEE International Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering in Sarajevo, which attracted over 500 participants from 40 countries, further establishing our Society as a significant player on the global stage.For more information, please visit the websites listed in the Links section.
