Internally transferred to a full-time iOS position on the Careers - Job Search team.

Working with JavaScript/Ember and Java to build an advertising platform from scratch (http://www.linkedin.com/campaignmanager) using latest technology and best practices.

- Full-stack development of web applications using vanilla JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Node.js and AngularJS in cycles between 6 weeks and 6 months.- Research and development into new technologies, working with JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, C# and others into such areas as projection mapping, AR, and facial recognition and identification techniques.Projects include:- Python: prototyping facial recognition and identification techniques using OpenCV, TensorFlow and others;- C#: prototyping projection mapping techniques using Microsoft RoomAlive, Kinect, and SharpDX/DirectX;- JavaScript: creating a JavaScript reusable, framework-agnostic component SDK, utilizing Web Components, RxJS, and reactive / functional programming techniques;- Prototyped a frontend using AngularJS, working directly with the team from Swedish company Tail-F to provide the underlying network services. The application was picked up by Deutsche Telekom and then scaled up to a fully-deployed product in several countries within an aggressive timescale.

- In work for Content Architecture, used XPath, XSLT, RelaxNG and Schematron to help create and launch flagship content validation workflow for company’s high-value XML-based legal content.- As Assistant Product Owner, defined requirements, wrote stories in TFS, prioritized product/release/sprint backlogs, and worked closely with developers in planning, reviews, and testing.- As Digital Editor, provided technical guidance and training material for our in-house CMS, to bridge the communication gap between our development and legal teams.
