The Werribee District Hospital Charitable Foundation plays a vital role financially supporting public hospital services in Wyndham. Established in 1993 following a generous bequest, the Foundation boasts a proud record of accepting donations, managing funds astutely, and providing significant financial support to our community's public hospital.As a director of the Foundation, I support the foundation in strategy development and implementation across all fundraising and marketing activities towards the Werribee Mercy Hospital. I also sit on the Foundation Investment Committee with the responsibility of managing, reviewing and deciding on the equity and investment portfolio of the foundation.

Reporting to the CEO, as ASPECT Chief Operations and Finance Officer I am responsible for the development and management of ASPECT Studio’s financial policy and its direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. I lead all aspects of financial administration, business planning, and budgeting for the ASPECT group. As a member of the senior leadership team and company board, I work closely with the Company Directors on the delivery of operational functions across the global business. In addition to finance I am responsible for and lead ASPECT Studios finance, information technology (IT) and provide advice to the Director(s), and other HR related senior staff (Studio Managers) on human resources issues (HR).I am responsible for the development and authoring of the annual business plan and oversee the strategic and tactical implementation of this. I lead a national C level team including Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, accounting and finance.

HR Tools is a cloud based resource and business management system sold as a service. As Chief Operating Officer I am responsible for the overall development of the platform across web and mobile devices working across a team of on shore and off shore software developers. Further to the development of the platform, I author the strategic business plan and develop all relevant proposals and information memorandums for capital raising towards the business. I directly manage a small team working in the business and report directly to the CEO of the company group on the performance of the HR Tools business.

While Managed Services Engagement Director with Ericsson my core function was sales of Managed Services across Telecoms and Utilities. I worked throughout South East Asia, across various customer engagements from opportunity identification, bid life cycle, deal closing, infrastructure build and customer handover.Held all pre-sales budgets for all Managed Services Opportunities and was responsible and measured against profitability within Managed Services across the Asia Pacific Region. The role involved working with C level clients to develop Manage Service offerings for such large operators as Telstra, Axiata, Vodafone New Zealand & Australia NBN. I was personally responsible for building successful trusted C-Level relationships across all customer organisations in South East AsiaA significant part of this role was the development of strategic customer pricing and the development of win-win propositions / innovative pricing models which were aligned to customer needs.

Responsible for Billing Operations, BSS, Messaging & Multimedia platforms towards Vodafone Australia for more than 3 million subscribers.Functional responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, policy development, project management, staff management, infrastructure management, financial management, training, risk management, corporate governance, marketing, public relations strategy, regulatory compliance, corporate communications and management reporting.Led teams of up to 82 engineering staff at the middle management and senior management level, including authoring the business plan, communicating the plan to the team, determining priorities, setting team goals, allocating resources, monitoring day to day work activities and authoring management reports.Managed a cost centre based on a transfer pricing arrangement with the marketing team, with an annually "budget" of $30 million and the mandate to break even. Authored the annual business plan Developed annual budgets, conducted quarterly reviews and managed all operational activities.Inherited a portfolio with an inefficient organisational structure, inadequate formal reporting mechanisms and poor internal communication. Revitalised the portfolio by overhauling internal operations and reporting processes to reduce costs, minimised administrative burdens and improved transparency.Managed business transformation projects and saved millions per annum through off-shoring parts of the business to India. Managed technical teams across the Billing Operations, Multimedia, Business Support Systems and Messaging functions.

Headed up the Global Services Delivery Centre Project Office and led teams of up to 33 Senior Project Managers. Responsible for the development, management and implementation of the Project Management and associated methodologies across the business (PMI - Prince2).Managed appropriate Project Manager resource allocation, responsible for budgets and dealing with customer escalations. Responsible for the leadership, professional development and performance management of all staff within the team.Responsible for the review, redevelopment and implementation of fit for purpose Project Management Methodology including templates, systems, tools and processes. Developed and implemented a fit for purpose Organisational Management framework. Set up PMO's for programs of work. Performed health checks, audits, PIR's for programs and projects. Facilitated workshops to identify benefits, risks and changes. Assisted projects in trouble and mentored Project Managers. Acted as the 'go to person' for the Ericsson project community.

Headed up the Packet Core Competence Centre and led 30 Packet Core Engineers delivering IP related services across South East Asia and Europe. Directed Ericsson's Packet Core Business, encompassing MPBN, GSN, SACC / SASN, GPON and EDA within the Asia Pacific region.Managed customer escalations and contributed to pre-sales for the Packet Core Business, acquired the SACC / SASN business for GSDC Australia. Managed GPRS deployments globally, including second line customer support and systems integration. Led teams of up to 20 engineers and worked with numerous core technologies. Directed Ericsson's GSN business within the Asia Pacific region and achieved all support key performance indicators and a 100% Service Delivery success rate.

Headed up the Wireline & IMS Competence Centre within the Asia Pacific region, leading 11 Wireline Engineers. Successfully turned a poor performing team to a high performing team through strong leadership and opportunity development for staff. Was responsible for the successful delivery of all of Ericsson's AXE, ENGINE & EIN products within Asia-Pacific. Conceived and developed the GSDC Roster Tool saving Ericsson $1.2 million through innovation in 2007 with additional ongoing savings.

Responsible for the sales of Satellite IP Applications and services towards Telstra. Achieved all yearly sales forecast targets and successfully introduced the commercial two-way Broadband Satellite Platform (Sky-Connect). Responsible for management of the Core 4 team during bid life-cycle, customer engagement, customer proposal development and deal closing. During my tenure I developed meaningful and credible relationships with key stakeholders in Telstra Bigpond. Successfully developed and supported existing strategies that won and grew Ericsson's business, reported to the Key Account manager and was responsible for forecasting sales targets and assisted in the development of the business plan for the account teams. Maintained and controlled strict budget control with the goal of achieving maximum profitability during each sales life cycle. Developed new opportunities through consultative approach sales and strong solution development in line with the customers internal and external commercial goals.

Provided consulting services to Telecom Operators and Enterprise on Telecommunications services, applications, platforms, solutions. Led teams as Solution Prime on several large software and hardware roll-outs globally including Telstra BigPond two-way and one-way satellite.Provided solution design services to Telecom Operators for the implementation of Telecoms Equipment and performed pre-sales opportunities and led sales engagements for Ericsson's System Integration portfolio.Worked with a wide range of private and public sector organisations in areas of telecoms requirement analysis, technology consulting and technical strategy development.Provided advice and expertise in the areas of billing, Multi-mediation, OSS and BSS to Telecom Operators and small to large enterprises.Successfully developed the billing mediation system from the ground up for the Bigpond. Was mandated on several occasions to represent Ericsson in both local and overseas trade shows to showcase Ericsson’s System Integration offering and achieved Principal Consultant Certification.

Founding Board Member and Director of Seetel Telecommunications, PSTN video phone company in Hawthorn, Victoria. PSTN Video Phones were manufactured off shore in Taiwan and developed for the Australian Market.Successfully distributed the units through retailers such as Dick Smith, NEC and Optus.

Founded the business Smart Tec Corporation and built a small team delivering PC based Point of Sale systems for retailers such as ALH, Philip Murphy Wine & Spirits, Foodworks and others. Smart Tec was one of the first POS developers to introduce touch screen PC POS terminals to the Australian market. Expanded the business before selling the company to a well known Australian Retailer and joining Ericsson Australia.

Responsible for the design and logistics of prepaid phone card services.
