The Pre Deployment Manager role is responsible for initiating and preparing newly signed dealers for onsite deployment activities (training, data migration and go live support) of Tune into their business. This includes: • Communicating the project rollout approach, including timelines, phases and responsibilities to dealer and internal stakeholders. • Establish project scope and define agreed deliverables. • Manage the configuration (both software and hardware), data migration and preparation phases to project plan. • Work closely with project control to schedule upcoming deployments and assign consultants appropriately.

The Product Manager role drew on the skills achieved in the role of an installation consultant and the experience gained with exposure client business practices. The main responsibilities in the role of Product Manager include: • Establish requirements for development projects with current and prospective clients, business partners and manufacturers. • Scope business functionality for new development projects and provide guidance to the Business Analysis teams business and process related technical specifications. • Provide ongoing support to a number of high value clients. • Providing support for current and upcoming functionality using demonstration, training sessions and ad-hoc reviews to members of the support, sales and consulting teams.

As a senior installation consultant the role required a varied set of skills and responsibilities. In brief these included: • Training course development including design and assessment as well as conducting classroom and one-on-one training. • Management consulting in preparation of the changeover and adoption of best practice once implemented. • Consulting with clients on an ongoing basis to improve processes and procedures, and adopt best practice initiatives.These skills were required for all aspects of a dealership business from process level to executive management, specifically: • Administration, including cash, trade debtor and creditor processing and end of month processes. This also included establishing and configuring internal (i.e. management and board level) and third party (i.e. eProfit and manufacturer) reporting. • Parts inventory sales, purchasing, stock level control and reordering, and performance and customer based reporting. • Workshop processing, loading and technician time management, as well as departmental, advisor and technician performance reporting. • Management of the warranty claims process from job completion to final settlement. • Vehicle and whole goods stock control from purchasing, inventory management through to sale. • Frontline showroom road to a sale processing and prospect capture. • Sales and aftermarket CRM programs and ad-hoc initiatives.In addition to the preparation and consulting tasks the changing over of a new client required the following skills: • Project and Change Management. • Ongoing project review with a view to improve processes, identify risks and establish mitigation strategies. • Systems data migration and qualification processes to ensure base quality is adhered to. • Customised report writing using products such as Crystal Reports, Sybase’s Infomaker, Excel and Word.
