Dr. Mike Clark is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Fusionetics, Founder/Previous CEO of the National Academy of Sports Medicine and previously the Chief Science Officer for Sharecare. Dr. Clark was previously named the “Health and Fitness Visionary of the Year” by Men’s Health magazine.Clinically, Dr. Clark and his team at Fusionetics serve over 1200+ Pro/College teams, 250,000 Athletes and over 10,000 Clinical Professionals. Dr. Clark currently consults with the Utah Jazz and NOLA Pelicans, previously as the team physical therapist for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns (18 seasons) and has served as a performance healthcare consultant for over 40 pro and college teams and individual athletes including MVP’s, All-Stars and Champions from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and the Olympics. Dr. Clark has also served as a sports medicine professional for 2 Olympic games.Academically, Dr. Clark, developed the OPT System used by the National Academy of Sports Medicine to certify and train over 1 Million fitness, performance, and sports medicine professionals in over 80 countries. Dr. Clark helped spearhead the development of several accredited performance health science education programs, including a BS, MS, and Doctoral program that have provided accredited, evidence based higher education degrees to over 7,500 sports medicine, performance, and fitness professionals. Furthermore, Dr. Clark is a noted lecturer and author. He has authored 3 scientific textbooks, over 40 textbook chapters in the areas of sports medicine, sports performance, and fitness. 
Research: Dr. Clark is actively involved in evidence-based human movement research through the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Exercise and Sports Science Research Institute. Dr. Clark has collaborated on many peer-reviewed, published and scientifically presented papers in the areas of injury prevention, performance optimization, recovery enhancement, and rehabilitation. 
Dr. Clark currently serves on several advisory boards including; the Chief Science Advisor the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the National Basketball Strength and Conditioning Association Performance Advisory Board, the Athlete Medical Board for the University of Georgia, the Exercise and Sports Science Board at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, the Performance Advisory Board for Under Armour, the Scientific Advisory Board for Hyperice, the BOD and Scientific Advisory Board for Incrediwear, and Human Performance Advisory Board for Technogym.
