The Australian Army Cadets is national youth development program that is hosted and sponsored by the Australian Defence Force. The program exposes teenagers to the ADF and teaches a range of skills within a military context. During my 6 years in the role, I was responsible for the acquisition of events and activities, product and business development and management of the visitor services team and Information Centres. Whilst managing a broad portfolio with a large and diverse team of 14 staff and 80 volunteers, this position was both a rewarding and dynamic experience that positions me well for this role.Key responsibilities for this role included management of relationships, partnerships and contracts with State, Commonwealth and non-Government organisations to maintain and enhance the outcomes for the region.
