I started 4 months before the Official Opening in order to prepare and organize the whole department. I reported to the General Manager and, beyond the Rooms Division, I had also at my responsibility the City Ledger and Accounts Receivable, the Hotel Security Department and the Management of the Hotel underground Parking.

During a two years period where we had no Commercial Manager, I had to promote the general Sales together with the GM. I also was part of the Duty Managers Team.

The annual Budgets of the Rooms Division department (revenue & costs) were made by me, as well as their monitoring along the year.

The Recruitment of the Staff who reported to me was of my responsibility, i.e., the Front Office, the Individual Guest’s Reservations, the Concierge, Bellboys and Valet Service, Housekeeping and the Security Team.

As curiosity but also relevant information, allow me to mention the great opportunity that I had to organize the 3 days stay of the former U.S. President, Mr. Bill Clinton and the former Secretary of State Mrs. Madeleine Albright. At their last day, I also organized the morning meeting that Mr. Bill Clinton had with the Israeli equally former Prime minister, Mr. Ehud Barak.
