Participant, as part of the SIEMENS Leipzig LCS division (Large and Complex Systems), in the project development startup of the new chemical complex in Hungary for the MOL Group, which comprised the following: With direct report to the LCS team, I took responsibility for the timely development of the primary and detailed designs of the SIEMENS Leipzig scope in the overall project, within the defined requirements;Also help in the definition of new processes and methodologies was a first stage task due to the innovative character of the project;Daily documental and engineering revision in cross cooperation with internal engineering divisions;In parallel, I attended several trainings for R&D and efficient use of software tools for the project.

After requesting a career change and a new challenge, I have returned to the company HQ, working for the engineering hub of the medium voltage and systems division. Working directly with the Sales teams, I embraced a new challenge as responsible for the systems development of new orders, in low and medium voltage. As a mean of enlarging my knowledge, I started studying more complex systems as E-Houses and their several integrated systems (in which I had my first contact during my years on the Operations) and their uses and integration in the more general picture of energy grids and utilities. I became therefore responsible for the concept creation of technical solutions, allowing to overcome technical constraints, both in low and medium voltage systems, so a feasible answer to tailored customer needs could be provided;As in the Operations, I coordinated the engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved regional engineering units including their interfaces, acting as the interface between the end customer and regional engineering units including their factories.

Ramp up of production in Portugal of the SIEMENS SIVACON S8 MCC (Motor control center) platform. As responsible in the CoC (Center of Competence) for the technology, I was moved to the factory, to help in the ramp up of production by contributing with my knowledge and expertise. During the years passed in the factory, I deepened my knowledge in project management, with several projects completed successfully, mainly for international markets and customers, ensuring the business success. Over time, I managed a network of technical specialists in order to realize customer specific components, systems and solutions, coordinating the engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved regional engineering units including their interfaces, being held responsible for the technical risks and opportunities.

After an internal merge, I was promoted to the CoC (center of competence) from the Medium Voltage and Systems division. Under this development, further improvement of the knowledge in competitor market technologies for low voltage and enhaced focus in the respective SIEMENS solutions was held. A first introduction in the development of conceptual systems in low and medium voltage was also developed in parallel during the year, while performing my daily functions as sales engineer.Project management between customers and SIEMENS factories was introduced to me in this year for the first time.
