I'm a strong arts and education professional with a Master of Arts - MA focused in Art + Design Education from Rhode Island School of Design. As a hybrid educator with a demonstrated history of working and teaching in schools, museums, and the arts non-profit industry, I have designed and taught varied distance learning programs, makerspaces, museum exhibitions, “making in the gallery” workshops, creative public programming as well as organizing numerous community-led artist initiatives. Meeting once a week for 10weeks. Developed a constructive and inspired theme resulting in students creating an Interactive Public Art Installation. Students learned how to facilitate their own artistic process through design thinking skills. Acquired the ability to physically implement concepts they had originally visualized and produced (from sketches to scale models).· Students learned how to nurture & define their own creative process while making a piece together.
