Provide customer service via phone calls, in person, and online chat function. Schedule appointments for service and installation, and verify vehicles and services. Communicate between vendors, distributors and manufacturers for updates on orders. Assist other departments in obtaining information to complete sales and services needed. Monitor inventory and ensure accuracy in availability.

Performs installations, trouble calls, and changes of service, while adhering to applicable codes, requirements, guidelines, company procedures and safe work practices. Verifies an accurate record of products and services is captured to ensure that customer has a positive experience. Communicates, engages and provides customer with education on products and services. Persists and finishes projects despite obstacles with little supervision, taking extra steps to prevent mistakes and creating opportunities to further engage customers with the products and services and enhance the ever-evolving customer relationship. Display active listening skills, perceive emotional awareness in difficult situations and empathize with customers to enhance an overall positive experience

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that associates experience with inventory. Work closely with mid and upper management to ensure accuracy of inventory, item placement, and associate compliance. Provide multiple reports during each shift to management and similar positions throughout the department. Verify full compliance and report accuracy at end of shift for associates.

Process income certifications and re-certifications as assigned. Conduct orientation for new voucher holders; ensure that proper documents are completed for new participants. Verify income and family composition for continued eligibility for program participants and document files in accordance with federal requirements and BHA’s Section 8 administrative policies.
