Initiated and led creation of the first-ever Cambodia branch of AIESEC, the world’s largest non-profit, youth-run, UN-affiliated organization working to provide young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships, and paid traineeships for multinational companies. Conducted detailed research, lobbied for and won UK foundation funding and AIESEC leadership approval, recruited Board of Directors, established Cambodian office, and managed country team of four. • Built self-sustaining, viable organization that created thousands of global leadership and traineeship opportunities for young Cambodians. • Won local trust and the support of Cambodian Prime Minister and Cabinet officials.• Secured corporate sponsorships and branch finances, created multinational trainee pipeline, and established chapters at 7 Cambodian universities.
