AmRisc was also the MGA for American Coastal Insurance Company, Florida's largest writer of condominium commercial property insurance. Mr. David Howard formed Edison Insurance Company in 2005. Through a network of over 800 independent insurance agents, Edison Insurance Company wrote over $150 million in premium in its first three years of existence. Mr.Howard is also the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Management Solutions Group (IMSG: INMG - Nasdaq), a business process outsourcing company that served insurance companies with over 800,000 policyholders.David served as Senior Vice President of Bankers Insurance Group. Mr. Howard also served as President of Bankers Insurance Services, Inc. and Bankers Insurance Underwriters, Inc, both subsidiaries of BIG. In addition, Mr. Howard served as President of Bankers Hazard Determination Services, Inc. (“BHDS”), a flood zone determination services provider, until it was merged with Geotrac, a company that BHDS acquired. Prior to his 33 years in the insurance field, Mr. Howard spent several years as an officer (reaching the rank of Captain) in the United States Army. Mr. Howard, a 1984 graduate of Central Michigan University and was the Distinguished Military Graduate.
