In this role, I focus on non-compete and trade secret litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to trade secrets, I assist employers in defending wage and hour collective actions.

Served as a term clerk for the Honorable Andrew M. Edison and assisted in the administration of cases from pretrial motion practice through trial.

In this role I worked primarily on FLSA collective action litigation involving oil and gas operators. In addition to legal research and writing, I was entrusted to draft federal pretrial motions including motions for summary judgment, motions to intervene, and motions to compel arbitration. I also had the opportunity to draft an appellate brief to the Texas First Court of Appeals seeking affirmation of a preliminary injunction.

Caldwell Everson serves as national defense counsel to multiple forensic drug testing laboratories. In my role as Law Clerk, I conducted a nation-wide survey of state common, statutory, and administrative law governing employment-related drug testing. Research also included developing presentations and guidance regarding the quickly developing patch-work of state laws regarding medical and recreational marijuana and industrial hemp.

Maintained direct client contact and developed relationships with community stakeholders. Drafted representation agreements, demand letters, administrative complaints, and other documents as directed. Legal research.

Traveled throughout the United States providing personalized speaking engagements to patients and families living with hemophilia as well as health care providers.

I worked as a consultant for both the global and US marketing and sales teams of Kogenate FS. I underwent the rigorous sales training required of all sales representatives as well as shadowed two representatives in the field. These field rides consisted of meeting with pharmacies, distributors, home-care providers, hemophilia treatment center providers, and patients. In addition to sales training, I attended numerous presentations given by all the departments within Bayer's pharmaceutical division. This included marketing presentations by the oncology team, the radiology and diagnostic imaging team, the cardiopulmonary team and the multiple sclerosis team. Furthermore, I attended Legal, Medical and Regulatory reviews, learned about the medical information department and made a trip to Washington D.C. to meet with Bayer's legislative affairs department. All of this training provided me an in depth understanding of strategies pharmaceutical companies use to protect their information and ensure marketability for their products. Prepared a trans-generational cultural analysis of patients living with hemophilia for the Health Economics and Outcomes Research Department focused on leveraging social media and social networks to increase treatment compliance.
