Responsible for all Customs activities that need to be addressed during start-ups, moves and close down of bases.Responsible for all Logistic activities regarding sending and receiving of goods on and from the base locally.Required to act and comply with the applicable country local rules and regulations (current and proposed) which could impact CHC, Heli-One logistics policies in support of base start-ups, moves and close-downs.Act according to Export Compliance laws and regulations of the respective countriesSupport CHC and customer via responsive actions to correct problems and increase customer satisfaction Organize the set-up of base ‘stores’ and assist with local on-boarding/training of personnel as directed.Support base stores activities that include base set-up, inventory organization and control, transactional updates for spares, GSE, and tooling for start-ups and removal/transfer of same.Participate in CHC Base discussion as part of the stakeholder group in the project kick-off meetings Be actively involved in pre contract stage by being able to do understand potential issues in regard to CHC and Heli-One logistics, distribution, warehousing activity on new contracts under consideration or in work.Follow base opening/closings standard work instructions.Required to travel to base for on-site support and coordination.Manage Base open and close process in regards to preparation of spares, GSE, and tools for shipment (includes import, export, shipper and Customs coordination and notification.)Ensure processes are aligned for Receiving/Warehousing of GSE (ground support equipment), spares and tooling, locally at the baseSupport all administrative requirements to manage airworthiness, quality certifications and other documents for parts and tooling.Implement and monitor KPI’sContract performance related to open/closings

Analyze current distribution process and make recommendations for the most effective distribution locations.Plan project timeline in consultation with Heli-one/CHC resources and engineering department.Facilitate all aspects of the distribution hub set up including building regulations, fit out, stock control, allocation of stock required, IT needs and relevant software installation.Respond to inquiries and resolve problems relating to the hub set ups.Ensure seamless transition to new locations.Facilitate training of personnel where necessary.Update ERP "Movex / Source 1" system as necessary.Analyze inventory count data for integrity and accuracy.Develop and implement appropriate action plan to address variances and/or process variations.Accountable for ensuring transactions are being conducted correctly by personnel ensuring a global standardization of transactions and processes.Perform process checks and count audits at new hubs over the 18 month project period.Report on inventory and process improvements to management.Develop methods to reduce exposure of loss or theft of assets.Enforce accountability for our systems users and customers.Ensure the accuracy of assets by using the correct software programs for inventory tracking.

Provide daily support to shop with issuing of parts out of warehouse. Perform cycle counts dailyReceive parts in to store and update ERP Systems.Assist shipping department with time critical shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods. Improve work environment to insure increased productivity where improvement is desired.

Responsible for cycle counting inventory at designated locations and providing Inventory Supervisor with a detailed report on discrepancies and root cause analysis for those discrepancies.Audit warehouse operations for accuracy and recommend corrective action in part identification and stock rotation.Place replenishment orders for inventory when required.Work with Maintenance Team onsite to ensure inventory is controlled and secured at all times.Participate as a contributing member of a cross functional team to address and solve inventory accuracy issues.Review Inventory with Shelf Life and Calendar life requirements once a month as stated in the General Maintenance Manual.Research, process and resolve inventory discrepancies and make inventory adjustment requests.Additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Supervisor.
