As Wolftech Lead Trainer I enjoy taking responsibility for training and transition across numerous rollouts including BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Millbank. I introduce key stakeholders to the software, explain the need for change, demonstrate benefits the software brings, and answer questions they have.I work with stakeholders to capture names of users requiring online training, face-to-face user training, superuser training, or bespoke one-to-one sessions. I agree a training timetable taking into account business release rates, trainer capacity, and the project timetable. I ensure a venue has been booked, and put a system in place to book users onto training sessions.I identify any unique workflows and tailor training courses to the requirements, creating new course content where appropriate. In Northern Ireland I delivered training for all superusers across multiple locations and lead a team of freelance trainers to deliver training to all other users. At Millbank, I was the only trainer on site and had sole responsibility for making sure all users were able to use the new software. Throughout the training period I liaise with the business to evaluate feedback from delegates, making sure we remain on course to train all users before the planned transition date. I flag up any potential risks, and reflect any functionality changes in my training. I listen to concerns from the business and liaise with the product team to implement solutions.I provide first line support throughout the transition, work with key users at their desks, answer questions, solve problems, and deliver ad hoc training. I ensure the software is successfully rolled out on time and users are self-sufficient by the time I finish a deployment.
