I consider myself first and foremost a mathematician and problem solver. Building on my mathematical background I can quickly catch up on whatever technical field I need to to solve a problem at hand. Whether the problem is producing statistical tools to analyze data, coding up a full stack framework for a web API, or creating a large AI Model, I know that I have the background necessary to understand the problem, research any necessary techniques, and then get it done. I bring with me years of technical teaching experience so I am comfortable explaining technical concepts to people with a range of backgrounds and prior knowledge, and working with them in a team. I consider myself proficient with procedural and object oriented programming styles. I have worked with C, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Java. I similarly have experience with MySQL and MSSQL databases. I have used PyTorch as my framework of choice for AI development focusing primarily on CNNs though I have some experience working with RNNs and Transformer models and in particular different types of attention blocks. I can't say that I have experience with everything and technology changes quickly. However I have demonstrated time and again that I have the skills to adapt to and thrive in new environments.
