Dmitri is an independent arbitrator at Arbitra International, and founder of Arbitration City Ltd, a company dedicated to empowering dispute professionals with the latest AI technology for productivity and collaboration. He has a decade of experience in information technology and more than two decades practicing law, including over twelve years as an international arbitration partner in the law firm Arnold & Porter.While at Arnold & Porter, Dmitri acted as lead counsel to numerous sovereign States and private companies in their most high-profile international disputes. For example he was lead counsel to the government of Sweden in its ICSID arbitration with Huawei Technologies related to 5G network technologies. His other sovereign clients have included Thailand, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, Slovakia, and Costa Rica. Dmitri is a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators and the immediate past Vice-Chair of the Board of the SCC Arbitration Institute. He has served as sole arbitrator and member of arbitral tribunals in a wide range of matters for over 12 years, and and is a frequent lecturer on topics related to artificial intelligence, dispute resolution and international law.He is one of the co-authors of the Silicon Valley Mediation and Mediation Center's Guidelines on the use of AI in international arbitration, and is a Visiting Professor on AI technology and tools at the International Dispute Settlement Program at the University of Geneva (MIDS).Mr. Evseev obtained his law degree (J.D. magna cum laude) from Harvard Law School, where he served as Publishing Editor of the Harvard Law Review and Linux systems administrator at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. He co-founded his first technology company in 1996 and worked in IT in multiple law firms and other organisations before becoming a lawyer.
