Eagle cell: • Creating fibre cable distribution designs for various FDSA utilizing Flexnap & pre-stub designs with considerations for cost saving and meeting deadlines. • Performing site visits to verify viability of initial aerial & underground cable designs and making dynamic adjustments based on existing field conditions. • Providing support to splicing teams to resolve any potential splicing related concerns and adjusting design based on field conditions when needed. • Maintaining contact with civil & cable placing vendors to resolve any conflicts encountered in the field and ensuring work is done as per design. • Addressing costumer complaints arising from civil work done as part of the FTTH projects as well as doing quality control for completed projects. Brantford Cell (working out of Creekbank): • Reviewing infra fibre schematics for the various routes and producing feeder cable splicing plans for the numerous FDSA. • Site visits to the Brantford C.O. to produce plans for cable routing from EMF to splice location in vault as well as routing for outside cable. • Maintaining progress tracking of infra cable placement and splicing. • Providing support to splicing teams to resolve any potential splicing related concerns and adjusting design based on field conditions when needed. • Maintaining contact with network managers and coordinating changes to the infra network based on field conditions, timelines or financial considerations. • Assisting in creating P.O. to vendors for construction of CSP’s.
