CurrentI am the technical lead for the Virtualization (on-prem and cloud), Network/Network Security, Storage and Linux Teams supporting a government contract.- Archived 100% on-prem virtualization by designing and deploying VMware vSphere clusters backed by Dell/EMC Compellent/PowerStore SANs for multiple sites.- Design and support of the FedRAMP certified AWS Gov and Azure Gov environments.- Support core L2/L3 network infrastructure, based on the Cisco switches and routers, to include Nexus 7000s, 7700s, 9500, 5000s, 1000V, Catalyst 6500s, 4500s, 2960s located at multiple sites.- Design and support the Network Security infrastructure to include Cisco ASA, IPS, ISE, CheckPoint NGX R81 firewalls.- Design and support Network management systems to include Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Security Manager, PRTG, Netflow collector, etc.- Designed the network core at the HQ, redesigned Data Center and DR networks.- Lead the effort to meet 2014 OMB ipv6 dual-stack mandate.- Propose new technologies and solutions to enhance the client's network core, security posture, data retention, and virtual environments.
