Worked as a technical and product lead for early-stage healthcare startup in the Fall 2013 cohort. Key involvement in brainstorming, product design based on customer feedback, and development of minimum viable product.The Bay Area NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) is a collaboration between the University of California Berkeley, University of California San Francisco and Stanford University and funded by the National Science Foundation that offers educational programs to accelerate the commercialization of science and fosters technology entrepreneurship nationally.

Responsible for creating a fraud detection model using machine learning algorithms. Built and organized complex data sets in SQL, performed model design to select appropriate features and extract patterns from data using scorecards. Other tasks include making business reports to provide benchmarking insights to clients in the financial services industry.

I classified and studied associated toric varieties of four-dimensional tops using computational and combinatorial techniques. Extensive use of Python and Sage Math. Gave a talk at MAA-AMS Joint Mathematics Meetings, January 2011. Published as senior thesis.
