Dmitriy is an experienced intellectual property attorney and computer software expert.Dmitriy’s legal career started at Mintz Levin in 2004, where his legal and computer science training turned him into a valuable contributor to Mintz patent litigation program. While working for Mintz, Dmitriy’s team managed technical discovery and source code review projects for litigations involving major software and consumer electronics providers, including Microsoft ($388M jury award in Uniloc v. Microsoft patent litigation), Google, Oracle, Apple, Samsung, LG and many others.In 2009, Dmitriy founded Flagship IP with a mission to build a team of attorneys and experts specializing in enforcement and monetization of computer software related patents. Over the years, Flagship IP provided legal and technical consulting services to dozens of law firms (including Mintz, Pepper, King & Spalding, Tensegrity, Nelson Bumgardner and Pillsbury Winthrop), venture capitalists and patent aggregators (Fortress, Intellectual Ventures, Papst Licensing), multimedia and telecommunication companies (including AT&T, DivX, Tivo and Rovi).Dmitriy is recognized as one of the World’s Leading IP Strategists by Intellectual Asset Magazine, appearing in its 2021 inaugural, 2022 and 2023 editions of the Strategy 300 Global Leaders guide.
