I took part in modification process of automated control system for filling station network (petrol and gas stations) as an analyst with the following responsibilities:- description of business processes in the field of retail and oil products accounting;- preparation of requirements for business processes automatization and integration automated control system with other systems and software;- preparation and approval technical documentation for development as specification (technical task);- preparation of testing scenarios for improved functionality;- communication with a business customer, supporting a team and development of teams of related systems;- participation in acceptance tests and preparation of acceptance protocols;- testing of improvement functionality.Achievements: - Implemented and introduced more than 30 improvements of an automated system;- Reducing the process time of accounting operations with petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas by 30% due to the automation of filling and calculating the parameters recorded in the system;- Potential reduction of commission for acquiring by 3-4 times per transaction due to integration with the terminal software of one of the largest banks and the introduction of a new method of payment using a QR-code;- Increase in efficiency of the formation and reporting to the central company’s office of management report and daily operational reports about the movement of petroleum products;- Increasing sales turnover due to the implementation of the functionality for marketing campaign with the VISA payment system.Was also awarded an honorary diploma from the CEO for conscientious work and a significant contribution to the achievement of the strategics goals of Expertek IBS.

The second and the third line of IT supporting of automated system for filling stations:As the second line:- remote supporting PC (OS Windows, Linux, Microsoft Office);- remote supporting software for petroleum product retail;- remote solving problems with cash register software and payment terminals;- remote configuring printers, scanners, integration with measurement systems (OPW, Veeder-Root, Struna) and communication with a fuel dispensing;- consultation filling station staff about operations in the automated system;- remote diagnostic problems with communication and retail hardware and escalation problem to a relevant specialist.As the third line:- testing and configuring cash register software (OS Linux);- configuring, testing and monitoring for operation of automated control system for filling station;- preparation of usage guides about automated system’s operation;- supporting software for petroleum products retail;- communication with a business customer and a development team (through bug tracking system JIRA Servicedesk);- training of customers’s employees for operations with automated system (central office as well as filling station’s employees too);- consultation of the second line support stuff in complicated cases.
