Dmitriy S. Rybakov received his Specialist’s degree (equal to Master’s degree) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the National Mineral Resources University (Mining University), St. Petersburg, Russia. He has graduated from the postgraduate program Mathematical and Instrumental Methods of Economics and received his PhD degree in the mentioned field from the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russia. He worked as Logistics Specialist, Deputy Logistics Director in a pharmaceutical holding company, Leading Project Systems Development Specialist and Leading Data Analyst in an automotive company. He also worked as a Senior Lecturer in the National Research University - Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg, Russia. Currently he is a Chief Analyst at Magnit, leading retail company. His research and professional interests include logistics management, supply chain management, inventory management, operations research and mathematical modelling, data analysis, process modelling and automation. His research papers have been published in several academic top-rated journals, such as International Journal of Logistics Systems and Management and International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, which are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases.
