I was drafted to the IDF in 2008 to Combat Engineering.I served as a squad commander during almost two years.After basic training's and course of squad commanders I moved on to an operational company in the regiment 605 of Combat Engineering.During next four months of my service were spent on the Israel-Lebanon border.After that I served about year in Hebron strip and then on the Golan Heights ,guarding the Israel-Syrian border and where was the and of my regular service. IDF Honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant.➤Courses done during military service:⭐Sharpshooters course⭐Sapper course⭐Squad Commanders course⭐Bridging tank course➤The role of squad commander includes:⚡ Responsibility for soldiers under me,beyond just giving orders.All time must have a finger on the pulse of my unit from emotional well-being of my soldiers to the way soldiers are interacting with one another.Also be example for young soldiers to look up to a military ideal that soldiers under my command can learn from.All time to guide my unit of training's ,lessons and combat procedures that keep my soldiers to be in fit.⚡Compiling reports deliverable to superior officers about the unit's operations in the field each time the squad goes out on patrol or on missions.Reports must contain detailed accounts of encounters with enemy elements and the public as well as the conduct of the soldiers and my personal assessments of each soldier's performance.⚡Responsibility to see that mission objectives are carried out and that each solider under his command understands his role in that mission and carries out his duties to the best of his ability.Ongoing in a number of operations requiring high functioning and working under pressure.⚡Responsibility for ensuring all unit equipment is maintained in working order. This includes weapons and other equipment such as communication equipment .Regular maintenance checks of equipment because bad equipment can cost a soldier life.
