Environmental Program Supervisor
Current• Managed and supervised the work of Contract Manager, Contract/Grants Coordinators, Agency Analyst Programmer, Information Management System Specialist, Paraprofessional, and Student Interns.• Reviewed work products including construction agreements, work orders, grant applications, agenda items, invoices, subcontractor payment schedules and purchase orders. Developed requests for qualifications, policy and procedure memoranda, and standard operating guidelines• Lead the development of business process automation projects (purchase order routing, contract document routing, travel approvals, and phone auto attendant) through coordination with management, end users and County’s IT department• Oversaw employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staffing recommendations. Handled employee complaints and grievances.• Coordinated with multiple departments/divisions and lead a team of programmers to digitize Mosquito Control division’s entire work process using ESRI ArcGIS Online and custom software as part of the response to the South Florida Zika outbreak. Deployed iPads and trained Mosquito Control staff on the use of the new system. Project received NACO award and was highlighted at ESRI’s 2018 User Conference.• In Environmental Analyst Role (Sustainability and Climate): led sustainability/resilience programs by collaborating with community partners, oversaw program budgets, delivered presentations to internal and external stakeholders, performed vulnerability analysis using GIS, and contributed to curriculum and methodology development.
