As a strategy expert in the Corporate Strategy Office, I support the management with market analyses in order to gain decision-relevant insights into Q Energy's current and future market activities. I am responsible for observing and analysing trends and future customer needs on the European energy markets. My work contributes directly to the development of concrete approaches for short-term opportunities and medium-term organisational strategies as well as long-term strategic roadmaps.Within the organisation, I work on a daily basis with different business units at European level, with a focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS) and hybridisation concepts (e.g. BESS & PV or wind power & H2) and their interaction with different power markets. My core tasks include market intelligence reports, management of market entry strategy projects and knowledge transfer based on internal trainings and presentations.

In my role as a renewable energy portfolio manager for an electricity marketing service provider and consultant, I assess renewable energy portfolios to understand their feed-in structure and determine the prices for power purchase agreements (PPAs). Based on this information, the Executive Board conducts contract negotiations with both plant operators and industrial or municipal power purchasers. I am also responsible for monitoring, analysing and improving trading activities on day-ahead and intraday spot markets. Key to this role are both the quality of the electricity generation forecasts and a comprehensive understanding of the electricity markets. I pass on this knowledge in consulting projects in the form of training courses and workshops.

In my role as a working student in the energy economy, i analyze the german energy market, with a focus on the electricity and gas markets. I also model energy economic processes in order to analyze potential for improvement.

As a working student at Siemens AG, Energy Sector in the "testing and validation" department at the gas turbine test field, I support the test management in the preparation and execution of gas turbine tests.

As a student trainee at Siemens AG, Energy Sector, I support the project manager at the construction site of new gas-fired power plants.
