It was an amazing experience for me, I had the opportunity to learn how to administer a variety of server and network equipment and services:- setting up Windows and Unix operating systems (FreeBSD, CentOS, FreeNAS);- configuration and administration of servers (domain controllers, web servers, mail servers, application servers, database servers, file servers, proxy servers);- server virtualization (VMware solutions on HP and Fujitsu servers);- administration of NAS (NetApp and HP equipment) connected in a SAN (Brocade equipment);- configuring network services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.);- network routing, configuring routers and firewalls;- creation of a corporate AS, interaction with peer providers using the BGP, organization of a DMZ;- administration of a computer network with wired, fiber-optic and wireless segments using logical division into VLANs on Cisco, Allied Telesyn and D-Link equipment;- setting up backup of servers and workstations (Veeam solutions).
