Responsible for overall management of the Field Safety function (Safety, Security, Emergency response, Environment, Health) and delivery of all Field based Safety elements of the annually approved HSSE planLead the field based safety teams (56 people) to support in design, plan and implement all aspects of SPD’s safety improvement journey. Driving Safety management practice across the field to deliver the necessary step change in Safety performance that SPD must make to achieve Top Quartile performance and deliver Goal Zero. Represent HSSE Manager in the field as the most senior HSSE field position and coordinate across HSSE disciplines as may be requested. Responsible for overall management of the Field Safety function and delivery of all Field based Safety elements of the annually approved HSSE plan. Safety assurance across all field operations and functions through a structured program of audits and reviews. Support to HSSE Manager to maintenance and improvement of field current Safety management systems, covering the key focus areas of Process Safety, Worksite Safety, Road Traffic Safety and Contractor HSE Management. Manage the focused programs for step change in Safety within the field. Ensure compliance with Russian Safety Legislation Demonstrate strong leadership in SPD’s drive for Goal Zero, ensuring a coordinated effort across the company and the contractors at all levels. Ensure that safety improvement initiatives and activities in the field are adequately planned, budgeted, logistically supported, executed and managed. Manage the day-to-day team requirements for reporting, coordination, training, etc. and budgets for the team within the allocation agreed, as well as identifying ways in which to reduce team costs through better practices and more efficient ways of working. Provide expertise in the review of field incidents, RAM rating and learning across the entire field. Mentor and develop of local Safety and HSSE staff.
