- Developed comprehensive business plan for establishing and managing metal-plastic pipe manufacturing facility, including financial analysis (CAPEX/OPEX, EBITDA, NPV, IRR, PI, DPB).- Consulted on selection and optimization of production line equipment worth approx. US$600k.- Identified and implemented efficiency enhancements for manufacturing processes resulting projected production speed of over 5.3 million metres per year.- Liaised with equipment manufacturers to ensure functionality and performance criteria were met- Engaged with raw material suppliers to optimize production speed and minimize incidents.

- Introductory program to the sector with skills workshops delivered by leading experts and a sample project to complete.- Developed a business case and a project plan on introducing a loyalty programme for a leading UK confectionery brand.

- Presented a research plan to the Head of Department of Physical Chemistry and allowed to carry out research into synthesis techniques of nanostructured oxide thin films.- Carried out research into pyrolytic methods of synthesis of titanium and nickel oxide thin films, as well as synthesis of protective zinc coatings. Studied physical properties and gathered performance data of obtained films.- Findings collated into a report and shared with the department to be used as a starting point for published research papers.- Report presented at a national intercollegiate research conference.

- Worked alongside a PhD candidate on his dissertation into magnetic properties of amorphous metals.- Performed measurements of samples on a differential scanning calorimeter/thermogravimetric analysis machine, generating data that was later used in my mentor’s published research.- Revised the university’s standard lab procedures on the use of the DSC/TGA instrument, presented the improvements to the Head of Department of Material Science, the revisions were accepted and distributed to the labs.
