Experienced mechanical engineer who has been working in the gas industry since joining Gazprom VNIIGAZ as a graduate in 2005, having a versatile experience in Russian gas industry.Since then, participating in every Russian major trunk gas pipeline project, and providing the following contributions:- gas pipeline pre-commissioning including cleaning, gauging, pressure testing, dewatering, interior drying, nitrogen filling, conservation/inerting and natural gas purging;- solving operational problems using the fundamental calculations of pipeline transport;- development of technical standards, instructions and manuals;- root cause analyses and incident investigation;- analysing critical operational data to optimize the gas pipeline transport processes;- gas pipeline field missions dealing with operational issues;- chairing technical meetings with contractors and customers;- analysing and solving problems to achieve practical results.Currently heading the Division (Laboratory) for pipeline pre-commissioning leading and motivating team of multiple collaborators. The team includes former pipeline contractors, designers and operators with extensive experience in gas pipelines.Parallel activity: international standardization under ISO auspicesChairman of ISO TC 67 Subcommittee 2 “Pipeline transportation systems”, coordinating development of ISO oil and gas pipeline standards, which includes:- technical dialogue with the most experienced pipeline professionals from all over the world (subcommittee consists of 14 active working groups, covering different subjects of standardization);- building consensus, and holding debates using cross-cultural awareness and competency;- evaluating new work items proposed by subcommittee members, and introducing improvements and elaboration if needed;- presenting status and developments of the subcommittee activities to the ISO Technical Committee 67.
