In GUH Laboratory I had 6 month work placement, that included one month rotation in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, Cell Pathology Departments as well as in Blood Transfusion and Tissue establishment. I worked as Laboratory Aid and shadowed Medical Scientists. In Microbiology Department I completed practical project "Validation EUCAST antibiotics disks" that was involving multiply repeated Manual Antibiotic Susceptibility Test. At the end of the work placement I wrote dissertation "Solid organ transplantation", based on literature review.
