Integrating the testing process into the company processes and extending the department by hiring and training new QA engineers.Improving the release process by adding all necessary software and instructions to build all company products by the continuous integration server (so that testers could build or test any app by their own). Introducing the code review process with the help of ReviewBoard and the static code analysis process. As a result of different investigations and applying different new technologies to our projects, I outlined the list of services that assisted us in testing; they either reduced time costs or improved product quality, for example, TestFairy, MonkeyTalk, BrowserStack, Sikuli, Ant Eater. I have a first-hand experience of using all these tools.I successfully automated testing of two web applications by using Selenium Web Driver, jUnit, and Yandex QA Tools.I wrote an in-house framework (based on Sikuli) to automate testing of mobile applications (both Android and iOS apps) and successfully used it in two projects. I had a successfull experience of using crowd testing in several projects. Finally, I actively contributed to introducing risk management practices and “postmortem” meetings.

Nov 2008 - May 2010

Senior Sdk Technical Writer

The major goal and challenge was to bring the Plesk API RPC specification to the actual state. It included investigation of the system functions, cooperating with my colleagues from the Technical Documentation department, consulting with QA and Development departments, participation in product releases. You can see the result at: http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/Doc/en-US/plesk-9.0-api-rpc/(This is only one document out of the documents bundle I wrote).During the completion of this task I was also engaged in updating the documentation look and feel, which also became one of my duties (reading the authoring software documentation, monitoring the Design department part of work, implementing the new skins across all offices of the company). Also, I was in charge of our authoring software maintenance and optimization of the document publication routine, and as I could manage MS SQL server, I took this task too. After completion of the API RPC task, I joined the APS team which addressed the new web application standard accepted by Parallels products. It was a thrilling thing as we together with the Development team introduced the new concepts of packaging standards to make web packages easy to deploy, update, and manage.APS included not only the packaging, but also supporting license management of applications. One of the documents written by me in cooperation with Irina Filkovskaya is http://www.apsstandard.org/r/doc/aps-catalog-1.0-api/index.htm?fileName=58080.htmAfter the first release of the specification was completed, I was promoted for the Senior SDK Technical writer and continued with maintenance updates of the products. (Author-it, Robohelp, MS SQL)
