The popular DiskDigger data recovery tool has been downloaded over 100 million times, and is used worldwide by individuals, corporations, universities, police departments, forensics specialists, and security agencies.- The Android version of DiskDigger has had over 100 million downloads, and enables users to recover deleted files from their Android devices. (Search for "DiskDigger" in the Google Play Store)- Built and maintained e-commerce website (using Drupal) for handling payments for software licenses, and automatic generation and distribution of licenses.

- Investor/advisor to a startup that built a website to help connect local businesses and freelancers with clients.

- Developed and managed speech recognition and voice control software for use in military, medical, and high-end audio markets. Included speech recognition SDKs and client applications.- Expanded the company's software offerings to Android, embedded Linux (Gumstix COMs), and Windows CE, allowing the software to be used in portable and mobile devices.- Created proof-of-concept desktop software (C# / WinForms, and C++ / MFC) for voice-controlled military robots, UAVs, and UGVs.- Created proof-of-concept augmented reality applications for heads-up displays (e.g. Google Glass), controlled with voice commands.- Developed code for PIC microcontrollers for controlling pushbutton-activated voice recognition systems on Android and iOS platforms.

- Developed control, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and signal processing software utilities for use with Lincoln Electric’s high-tech welding power sources and robotic controllers (see patents below).- Primarily used C# (WinForms with GDI+) and C++ with MFC (with GDI graphics), as well as Borland/Embarcadero C++Builder. Created ActiveX automation components, scripting engines, and algorithms that made use of data compression, FFT, and statistical analysis.- Designed and implemented communication protocols for devices over Ethernet, CAN, and RS232 (see patents below), as well as embedded web server components. Created libraries to encapsulate these protocols (.dll, .so), with bindings for various languages (C/C++, C#, Python, Java, LabView).- Built Palm OS applications (may it rest in peace) for configuring and controlling welding equipment over infrared (IrDA) and Wi-Fi.
