About Dmitry Ushakov

We founded Qonic to rock the CAD/BIM world again with the next generation of engineering software.We are looking for talented C# developers (C++ and Java are OK as well) to join our fast growing international team.Before joining Qonic, I worked at Bricsys as the head of Russian R&D center located in Novosibirsk, where we developed parametric engine, direct modeling tools, assembly design, sheet metal, drawing generation for BricsCAD, the most powerful .dwg-compatible software. Prior to joining Bricsys I worked at LEDAS, taking different position from senior developer to CEO. I've been taking part in development of constraint solving technology since 1993 - first in the context of general problem solving as a key task of artificial intelligence, and then in application to geometric design. I was a member of the team, which developed a general purpose constraint solver and integrated it into CATIA Knowledgeware for Dassault Systemes. I was the leader of the team, which developed a specialized geometric constraint solver CDS currently used in CATIA and SOLIDWORKS.Specialties: engineering software development, computer aided design
