The internal workings involve Linux Red Hat and CentOS and Ibrix knowledge on a daily basis.  Develop customer rapport by taking ownership of difficult issues and collaborating in a team effort with necessary departments and peers to resolve cases and satisfy the customer.  Administration of internal HPE labs for testing and research, including installing, configuring, and maintaining large amounts of equipment onsite so teams can train on specific components and recreate customer issues.  SAN connectivity, Storage and performance including FCoE, VTLs, Replication, Deduplication, NAS with both CIFS and NFS. Daily interaction with Storage Area Networks (SAN) at all levels of design and connectivity including Virtual Tape Libraries, NAS, Catalyst, NFS, CIFS, Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and iSCSI.

Installed and administered vendor systems from Microsoft, Cisco, Unix/Linux, SonicWall, VPNs, and Firewall Security.Involved in entire build out of new health clinic in Sanders, AZ and reworked one in St. Michaels, AZ including cabling and design for networks, data backup, disaster recovery, security and more.Continued work with Navajo Oil and Gas Company during company transition.Supported a variety of local businesses in Gallup, NM and around the reservation.Worked mostly with Cisco equipment and SonicWALL VPNs and supported Linux Red Hat ecommerce servers along with Microsoft servers and client machines.

Window Rock, Az

Involved in the build-out of an entire new headquarters building including design, cabling, cooling solutions, and construction/maintenance of the many gas stations and convenience stores. Installed and maintained network, computers, connectivity, security camera and badge systems from headquarters to many retail convenience stores as well as throughout the oil and gas pipeline and transfer stations.Expanded headquarters servers, then began virtualizing them when that technology became mainstream.Installed servers and database and maintained system which included monitoring and alert systems for SCADA system controlling pipelines from Colorado through New Mexico.Created different methods to retrieve data points from the field, sending them to various locations and multiple redundant alert systems functional for a variety of monitoring points. Software was primarily Microsoft based with Linux Red Hat, retail/eCommerce and SCADA systems.Assisted with design and installation of system, then maintained them throughout their life expectancy or when they were replaced with newer upgrades and/or technology. Secured domains and created original websites and maintained hosting and DNS related changes.

Supported an Internet Service Provider for end users, on and off the reservation as well as contract customers, including internal office support, email account services and website hosting.Monitor servers, DNS, bandwidth usage, and hardware environmental factors. Addressed new change requests for customers by adding, modifying, removing accounts, directories, or manually manipulating files if they were having issues with email or website changes, etc.Maintained Security by proactively reviewing logs and implementing proper changes to combat malicious activity. Provided DSL and circuit provisioning, Linux, Windows and Router administration, set up hosted domains and website space, customer email service, and DNS.Installed and maintained onsite training lab computers, ensured test software was updated. Onsite support for local companies with installations, maintenance and cabling buildings for data connectivity, installed modem, and fractional T1 connections, installed computers and software, established printer connectivity, tested and supported that customer after the installations.

Navajo Reservation

Installed and maintained IT infrastructure in several K-8 schools and other projects for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Indian Education in conjunction with the Department Of the Interior on the Navajo reservation.

All Over The United States

Contracted to Wells Fargo Banking and responsible for the Installation, Configuration, and Testing of servers, networks and teller computers across the U.S. including IBM servers and Cisco networking equipment. Involved onsite travel to about 350-400 sites including banks, insurance and mortgage offices and worked within state budget towards updating equipment. Led teams of 3-20 people depending on size of bank.Ensured equipment safe arrival and installation with proper configuration. Reported to IT headquarters in Minneapolis for testing and verification after installations.
