When I joined Global Foundries the FAB was still under construction. The Test floor wasn't even built yet. Since that time I have participated in the Installation of Prober-Tester Cells which are actively testing chip structures to feed back process needs from our manufacturing floor. I trained the Process Technicians to be able to operate the equipment on a daily bases and now have 8 across the 4 teams I am currently Leading Six Sigma Green Belt Projects to improve our productivity which is on track to save GF millions in lost time and salaries. I assist vendors, GF software engineers, and automation engineers with installations, experiments, data collection, hardware fixes, etc.I serve as the 5S champion forging the model in which Fab 8 will implement throughout the facility.I also serve on the ERT team and under go extensive training for emergency response to spills, injuries, confined space rescue, and other mishaps that may occure in a manufacturing environment.

I am a 3rd generation builder that had the desire to pass this trade and talent on to my children. So when the oppertunity presented itself [laid off from IBM] I opened DMK Builders. Both Matthew and Kenneth worked for me until such time they moved off to College.As the owner I found myself on a fast track learning curve to handle Customers, Contracts, Sub-Contractors, Product ordering, Human Resources, and Accounting.
