Designed Mechanical Cad drawings for enclosures and parts in Solidworks. Designed Electrical PCB schematics and drawings in KiCad and CircuitMaker2000. Chemically etched Supersize Circuit boards on site (18"x30") using commodity chemicals.Maintained C# / .net code for Windows CE 6.0 Platform and then ported to Android, an application that interfaces with various devices and protocols over USB, Bluetooth, CAN and Wifi. Custom written drivers for FTDI were implemented. SVN was used to track development. Developed a PHP/MySQL cloud application to manage product inventory and enable calibration data to be uploaded, computed, and validated for distributors internationally using complex mathematical models, that i calculated from months of field testing and data acquisition. Matlab, Dreamweaver, Excel, Notepad++, Regex, PHPmyAdmin, Visual Studio, and Impedance Analyzers were used.Developed a calibration kit consisting of fixed dielectric materials for distributors to calibrate gauges. During kit creation, a custom grounding gauge was designed to reduce noise and improve accuracy by over 800% than previous calibration methods when combined with the cloud portal. Performed Soil and Asphalt analysis using handheld gauges on and off site.Worked closely with international customers and distributors for technical support and feature requests.Worked closely with vendors and manufacturers through out the various stages of the engineering development life cycle and frequently visited facilities to ensure proper quality control measures were being enforced.
