Novel-T’s (Kennispark Twente’s) new ambition is to become the best performing ecosystem for innovative entrepreneurship in Europe. A bold ambition. For a more international approach, the Marketing & Communications department of Novel-T, which I was part of, worked since May 2016 on the rebranding of Kennispark Twente to Novel-T. Besides a new marketing strategy, implementing a new corporate identity, new website, and new online and offline content under a strict deadline was a real challenge. In March 2017 Novel-T kicked-off. An accomplishment I am very proud.

On 2 March 2017 Kennispark Twente became Novel-T. I’ve been an independent consultant for the Novel-T Marketing & Communication department since 2015. My main focus is communication concerning New Business. Telling New Business stories told in text, image and sound is where I shine. I really enjoy giving startups the advice they need and helping them in their marketing and communication goals. It is also a fascinating challenge to find the right ways to profile the Novel-T organization and to contribute to a strong regional high-tech innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.I am very interested in social media and video marketing. Besides my duties for Novel-T, I spend a lot of time making video productions. The ways in which the medium of online videos is used continues to develop. Images and videos are popular on social media because these moving images draw the viewer in when they’re scrolling through their timelines. We also use moving images to reinforce our message at Novel-T.

Concerndirectie Marketing & Communicatie. Afdeling Externe Communicatie (Persrelaties)Taken die ik binnen M&C verricht zijn onder andere het uitvoeren van het persbeleid, het schrijven en online zetten van nieuws- en persberichten op de website en op diverse social media kanalen zoals Facebook en LinkedIn. Daarnaast produceer ik videofilms voor het Touch platform. Ook onderhoud ik contacten met de pers en neem ik deel aan verschillende projectgroepen, waaronder het Open Huis. Ideeën zoals het gebruik van Storify tijdens belangrijke evenementen heb ik met enthousiasme ingebracht en uitgevoerd.

Freelance verslaggever at RTV Oost, voornamelijk voor radio. Ik heb bij RTV Oost enkele nieuwswaardige gebeurtenissen live kunnen verslaan waaronder het instorten van het dak van de Grolsch Veste (2011), de grote brand in het Aamsveen (2011), een groot ongeluk op de A1 bij Enter (2011), De Hollands Venetiëtocht (2012) en het uitzwaaien op de snelweg van de spelersbus van FC Twente (2011).

De Jeugd Ontspannings Commissie (JOC) van de Enschedese Korfbal Combinatie Nääs organiseert elke maand een activiteit voor de jeugd. De functie is op vrijwillige basis.

Allround stagiar in Suriname bij het Jeugdjournaal tijdens de verkiezingen waarin Bouterse aan de macht kwam.
