Daniel Pidgeon is the Chief Executive Officer of McIntosh Group, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high-end home audio equipment worldwide. The iconic collection of brands represent best in class innovation and craftsmanship inspired by each brand’s unique heritage. In addition to its own products, channels include automotive partnerships and product distribution services.Previously, Daniel served as CEO of Sears Home Services, the nationwide team of 7,000 professionals dedicated to excellence in home services including America’s largest appliance repair organization, service warranty contracts, home improvement, parts distribution, online sales, franchises, and other services that make life better at home. Daniel was the founder and Chairman, operating Starpower, a luxury brand electronics retailer and custom installation services company based in Dallas, TX. He led Starpower during a period of rapid growth from startup to also include acquisitions such as Dallas based, Ed Kellum & Son Appliance Company. Daniel built the collective Starpower companies into nationally known upscale brands.In 2015, Daniel rose to become the Chairman of the Executive Board for Consumer Technology Association (CTA). CTA is the owner and producer of the largest trade show in the world, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES®) held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada. He continues to serve on the Executive Board of CTA and remains active in the technology industry.Daniel is a past member and officer of the Dallas, Texas Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a member of Dealerscope’s “Hall of Fame”, a member of CTA’s Board of Industry Leaders, a former board member of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) National Consumer Technology Board and the 2018 recipient of ADL’s Torch of Liberty Award recognizing his impact on the global consumer electronics industry. He is a regular speaker on the technology industry at universities and events.Daniel started in his teens, working at a family owned furniture company. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics. He is married with two grown children.
