I have a keen interest in the application of biological solutions to industrial and environmental problems. Not only am I interested in what the biological world is doing, I also wonder what the biological world can do for us. There is a huge amount of information in the annals of scientific literature and a plethora of techniques and methods that can be utilized in a variety of applications. Using this knowledge and adapting techniques to solve novel industrial and environmental problems is something I find both interesting and rewarding.
