Daniel was appointed as a Graduate Engineer for the newly established North East office in August 2015, and promoted to the role of Engineer in September 2017.Duties:• Project Management and Coordinating Site Investigation • Site Supervision of Ground Investigation and Sub-contractors • Production of Factual Reports, Method Statements and Risk Assessments• Quality Assurance (Factual Reports, Method Statements, Borehole Logs, and Soil and Rock Descriptions to BS5930) • Liaising with clients and local authorities• Regional Health and Safety Representative and Committee Member • Soil and Rock Logging to BS5930• Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Laboratory Test Scheduling • Installing and Monitoring of Geotechnical Instrumentation, groundwater and gas levels• Issuing permits and undertaking utility clearance using radiodetection techniques • Attending site walkovers and prestart meetings • Leveling and locating positions using Leica and Trimble GNSS systems• Maintaining environmental standards to ISO 14001 • Undertaking ground investigation within close proximity to live high voltage overhead lines and live substations• Supervise nightshift rail ground investigation on blocked and open lines

Daniel was appointed as an exploration geologist for Queensland Mining Exploration Consulting in July 2012. The company specialized in green field coal exploration utilizing RC and RAB drilling techniques.
